Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism - Medical Animation
This 3D medical animation depicting Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT or Deep Venous Thrombosis) begins by showing a blood clot forming in a lower leg vein. As red blood cells flow through the vein, slower moving cells and other blood elements accumulate on the venous valves, creating a stationary blood clot, or thrombus, blocking the blood flow in the vein. When the thrombus breaks free of the valve leaflet, it is then called an embolus, and travels toward the heart and lungs. The last section of the animation shows the embolus lodging in the lung tissue to form a potentially life-threatening pulmonary embolism.

What attorneys say about MLA and The Doe Report:
"[I] have come to rely upon the Doe Report and your great staff of illustrators for all my medical malpractice cases. … Please know that I enthusiastically recommend you to all my colleagues.

Frank Rothermel
Bernhardt & Rothermel
"It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Medical Legal Art. We have used their services for three years and always found their professionalism, quality of work, and timely attention to detail to exceed our expectations. We recently settled two complicated catastrophic injury cases. One medical malpractice case involving a spinal abscess settled for 3.75 million and the other involving injuries related to a motor vehicle accident settled for 6.9 million. We consider the artwork provided by MLA to have been invaluable in helping us to successfully conclude these cases.

I highly recommend MLA to anyone seeking high quality, detailed medical legal artwork."
